CHICAGO – Following today’s doubleheader, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Justin Anderson to Class AAA Charlotte.

Anderson 31, was appointed as the 27th player for the doubleheader against Washington, tossing 1.0 scoreless IP with one walk and two strikeouts in the opening game. He has made three relief appearances with the White Sox this season, allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts in 3.1 IP.

With the move, the active roster returns to 26.
